St. Thomas Assembly was an automobile plant located in Southwold, Ontario, Canada that produced many Ford cars, it was built in 1967 with a size of 2,600,000 square foot (240,000 m2). The plant was closed September 15, 2011 and left to rot. Today the factory is almost entirely demolished.
The whole location included typical for a car plant conveyer belts, robots and lots and lots of pipes making it look like the space ship in the Alien movies. Definitely an urban photographers dream.
